I felt sad when I realized that Linux was no longer free and open source. Contributions shouldn't be disregarded because of someone's nationality, and I also feel that their freedom and open source are beginning to be used as tools to divert domestic conflicts. Linux is a tool, but not a political tool.
Many devices around the world are interconnected and made convenient through the tool of Linux, and at the same time, Linux promotes human social progress.
One thing I find very troubling is that the Linux Foundation does not engage in meaningful actions and only cares about money. The mainstream system on the server side is Linux. Science knows no borders, but many times, nationality also represents the individual. Moreover, such events are now affected. What was originally a process that could be supervised has now turned into a situation where two individuals have become one, which has distorted the essence. This is not a good thing.
Linus has also said that he is a pragmatist, but it seems that he can no longer meet these basic conditions. So where is freedom?
